The zipper at the back unzips to remove the base mattress of the pet bed. The bolster is encased in the slipcover so you can’t remove that.

I would go larger, rather than smaller if you want them to have a little wiggle room.

Will this fit on and stay on a couch?

I guess you are referring to the whole dog bed. So I think it would depend on the size you get and the sizes are given in the product description. The bottom has a non-slip surface so I don’t think it would slide off.

Is there a link to purchase a replacement inside cushion?
